2008 A Year of Salvation! (Romans 1:16) Church Extension Monday Morning Prayer Ticker December 1, 2008
1. Ray Bertolet (Assistant Church Planter, Delmarva) Praise for the group that helped with music at Cape May Court House and for Brian who has been away from the church but, after being contacted, has begun making an effort to return. Praise for the engagement of Charles Bertolet to Caroline White.
2. Dan Williams (Woodbury Heights, NJ) Praise the Lord for continued growth and guidance at the Woodbury Heights, NJ Mission Church, and His provision of new financial supporting partners. Please pray for 1) two women in our church who are undergoing breast cancer treatments; 2) this Saturdays community tree lighting where I will be giving the invocation; 3) our Strategic Planning Committee as they work during the month of December on the identification of core values. Lastly, pray for the Lord to raise up servants for our mission in the areas of worship and youth ministry.
3. Elliot Ramos (South Allentown, PA) We praise the Lord for D & A, a couple that has joined our fellowship and has become a great help in our ministry. Please pray that our first Financial Workshop will be well attended and that this outreach will help our community, and as a result we may harvest a few families that will join our fellowship. Also, pray for J who suffered a back injury and is currently unemployed. This has come to affect his spiritual walk and outlook. Pray for his wife who will be giving birth soon.
4. Carol & Clyde Snyder (Adams County, PA) Pray for W who knows the right things to say, but only God knows if he has been born again. He is struggling with a long-time drug addiction. Pray for R who has a serious physical condition. His wife demonstrates deep commitment to Christ and His Church, but he has not joined her. Pray for Ss family; both father and mother come to Bible studies, but the family (which includes two children) has not started attending church.
5. Tim Zuck (Hellertown, PA) Praise the Lord for bringing several of our people through medical procedures last week. We are grateful for His grace and comfort during difficult times. Pray for the recovery of Glenn who experienced a heart attack on Thanksgiving. Pray that God may use this experience to open his eyes to his need for Jesus. Pray for Tim and Tori as we prepare to move on Saturday, December 6.
6. Ralph Ritter (Brooklyn, NY) Pray for the baptism that we have scheduled for this coming Lords Day, December 7. May the witness of these two young teens touch hearts for Christ. We would love to have visitors - email or call for information.
7. Lisa Christensen (Administrative Assistant, Church Extension) Please continue to pray for my 14 year-old nephew, Julian, being treated for a rare form of bone cancer in his right leg. Praise the Lord that today marks the last of eight more chemo treatments. Pray for him to overcome side-effects of narcotics withdrawal and that the Lord will work to restore circulation to his still blackened toes, a result of recent surgery. He and my entire family are not saved. Pray for their salvation.
